I propose the Central Govt. should formulate a new scheme giving monthly medical (OPD treatment)allowance @ Rs. 500/-, 800/- and 1000/- per month for Category A,B,C & D employees, retaining the CGHS and Indoor treatment facilities in Govt. Hospitals and Recognized Tie-Up Hospitals as in vogue. In addition, Central Govt. employees should be given VDA on the basis of quarterly AICPI and Loans and Advances on soft rate of interest like what do the Nationalized Banks and Insurance Cos. offer to their employees. Besides, Leave Travel Concession lump sum benefit in cash should be introduced instead of pushing them to travel to a place, thereby incurring huge allied expenditurte.

Im an LDC in BSF promoted / appointed wef 12-11-2005 drawing pay in the GP of Rs.2400/- as per 6th CPC recommendation, minimum pay has been charted @ Rs.7510/- plus GP-2400/- in case of HC’s who are appointed on or after 01-01-2006, but how will be the pay calculated in case of those who were appointed / promoted before 01-01-2006. Whether their pay will be fixed after granting bunching increment.. If so, how will it be fixed. Please clarify.
