NFIR Demands of re-option for re-fixation of pay of staff who got two promotions during 1.1.2006 to 4.9.2008

One more reminder has been sent to the Railway Board by the General Secretary of NFIR regarding the point No.02/2012(DC) in DC/JCM meeting held on 26th and 27th June 2012. The subject of the Item No.02/2012 (DC) is grant of re-option for re-fixation of pay of staff who got two promotions during 01/01/2006 and 04/09/2008. The letter has been sent to the Secretary (E), Railway Board, the same is reproduced under for your ready reference…

Sub : Grant of re-option for re-fixation of pay of staff who got two promotions during 01/01/2006 and 04/09/2008.

Ref : (i) NFIR’s letter No.I/1 dated 02/07/2011.
(ii) DC/JCM Item No.2/2012 (DC).

During the course of DC/JCM meeting in the Railway Board held on 26th and 27th June, 2012, while discussing DC/JCM item No.02/2012 (DC) on the subject, Official Side advised that the matter has been referred to Ministry of Finance. Official Side further assured to expedite the matter. NFIR, further wishes to point out that more than two months period has passed but no progress has been reported thereafter.

NFIR, therefore, requests the Railway Board to see that re-option opportunity is extended to the staff. A reply relating to the progress on the issue be conveyed to the Federation.
