On the recommendation of the VI CPC, the scales of pay existing from 1.1.1996 (Col. Old Scale –

Pre Revised Pay Scale) have been replaced by the scale of pay (Col. Revised Pay Structure) with effect from 1.1.2006 under the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay)
