Any one whose GP is 5400/6600/7600 can claim Rs 18 per KM if the personnel effects are transported by Road. it is very clear after the 6 CPC. FOr transportation between X and Y class cities, it is Rs 30/- per Km or the amount paid which ever is less.

Sir,
Please let us know that a goverment servant can claim transportation of the personal effects @ Rs. 18/- or 30/- per Km. if he actually transports his personal effects by road by a hired truck, ignoring the railway charges of a goods train?
Thanks.
yours sincerely,
Rajendra Singh
I am working in central govt. My grade pay is Rs. 1900/- I have been transferred from Ahmedabad to Baroda. My personal effects transported by truck not by rail because it is practically not possible to take all goods from residence to railway station and railway station to new residence. Bill section returned my bill as I have claimed as per SWAMY HANDBOOK 2010 1500 kg /4.60 per k.g.( road-transport)
If there is any rule or way to claim my actual transport personal effect performed by road not by rail ( in the case two cities connect by rail)
If any solution then call on 09925251431
