Representation of Women Employees
An Office Memorandum (No.39020/03/2009-Estt [B] dated 3rd August, 2010) published by DOPT regarding the representation of Women Employees in Central Government Service. The Government has encouraged in so many ways to increase the representation of Women in employment under Central Government.
Government needs for concerted efforts to increase the representation of women in employment under Central Autonomous Bodies also. In this way, the facility already given to Women candidates that they are exempted from payment of fees for competitive examinations by recruitment/Departmental competitive examinations/direct recruitment by interview conducted by Union Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission.
Now it has now been decided that the facility of exempting Women candidates from the payment of fees would also be extended to any Examination/Test/Interview conducted by the Central Autonomous Bodies.
