A 5% additional D.A.(Dearness Allowance) is expected to be announced for Central Government Employees from July-2009.
The calculation is based on All India consumer Price Index value for Industrial Workers base 2001=100 (AICPI-IW).
For all the CG Employees there would be a rise in DA to 5%, which would result in the overall rise to 27% from 1.7.2009
