OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject: Clarification regarding re-imbursement of LTC-80 fare. The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No.7(1)/E.Coord/2008 dated 4-12-2008 wherein Air India’s LTC 80 scheme was introduced from 1st December, 2008, for LTC travelers entitled to travel by Air. A number of references from different Government Departments/offices have been received in this Ministry seeking clarification whether the prevailing fare on the date of booking of LTC 80 tickets is to be reimbursed or claim is to be restricted to Air India’s LTC 80 fare as on 1 December, 2008.
2. The matter has been considered in this Ministry and it is clarified that the fare paid on the date of booking of ticket under LTC 80 scheme of Air India may be reimbursed.

BCR granted wef 01.01.2007 gared pay 4200/- in pay band 9300-34800
Regular promotion as AAO wef 26.03.2008 with garde pay of 4800 in pay band of 9300-34800.
As per illustartion 2B attached with Department of Post New Delhi Fif e No.4-7 / (MACIS,) /2009-pCC dated 24 Sep 2OO9, as to whether 3rd MACP with Grade pay of Rs. 5400/- is admissible after completetion of 30 years of service i.e. as wef 25.11.2010?

i have availed home town LTC from visakhapatnam to kolkata by private airlines since there is no air india flight direct from visakhapatnam or via shortest route via hyderabad. only via chennai is avilable and that to one have to stay at chennai whole day to catch flight for kolkata. So i want to know wheather I am entitled for the fair by private flight restricting fare to LTC-80 by air india via chennai.
I am posted in Shillong. GOI, MOF Deptt of expdr OM No. 19024/1/2009-E.IV dt 16 Sep 2010 was received in my HQ on 18.10.2010. on 23.9.2010, LTC 80 tickets were not availble with Air India office for journey from Guwahati to Delhi and Delhi to Guwahati for 24.10.2010 and 7.11.2010 respectively. So I purchased normal tickets from Air India Counter, Guwahati on 23.9.2010 for above journey. Air India has given a certificate for non availabililty of LTC 80 tickets. Now deptt has refused reimbursement. Whether I am entitled for reimbursement or otherwise. What is my fault ?

A central govt employee entitled to travel by air, went on LTC during 2010 by air india economy class and not on LTC 80 ticket.However the fare of Air India economy class paid by him is less LTc 80 Ticket. Can his LTc claim for reimbursement be accepted.

The table has base fare and fuel charge and in Table-3 : Remarks & Notings 2 Taxes, Fee & Charges,In addition to the above fares, Passenger Service fee, Airport Development Fee (wherever applicable) and Service Tax would be applicable.i want to know that in ltc80 fares only table-2 fares are reumbersed or with table-3 remarks ¬ings,taxes&other fees also reumberse,please clarify.
