Sir,
This is with reference to the OM dated 17 Aug 2010 regarding revised criteria for entitlement of serving govt servants for General Ward/Semi Pvt Ward etc w.e.f 01 Sep 2010. As per the new criteria the basic pay does not include grade pay which is an anomaly. It is an ironay that the rate of CGHS subsriciption is fixed on the basis of Grade Pay where as the entitlement is fixed on the basis of the basic pay with out inclusive of Grade pay. Further the rate of subscription for all the grade pays of Rs. 4600/- to Rs.6600/- is same(Rs.325/-).The employee whose grade pay of Rs.4600/- has to pay Rs.325/- and his/her entitlement, as per the OM dt 17 Aug 2010 is General Ward only which is also a gross discrimination.
It is requested that the matter may kindly be looked into and make uniform criteria i.e Grade Pay as bais, for both CGHS subsription as well as entitlement as in the case of LTC entitlement.
Thanking you,
Vijayanandan.k
Sir
There is a huge anomaly in prescribing the entitlement in hospital. The entilement is fixed on basic pay without gradepay. Definition of basic pay vide revised pay rules(2008) is the pay in the pay band plus grade pay. Secondly the monthly contribution is fixed on the basis of grade pay. There should be a uniform ctiteria for both contribution and entitlement.
A pensioner after availing medical allowance facility for about 4 years which to join CGHS, does he require to pay back the medical allowance he had received with pension @ 100/- per month for the entire period of his retirement?
Dear Sir,
This is regarding the official entitlement of a ccs service official. There are Administrative,Accounts and Technical officers in a department.
For this officials acording to their rank/scale of Pay with grade pay ( as per 6th CPC)the facilities given varies by the each department.
But the department is not issuing any orders / intimation to any such details to group A and above officers.
I would be glade to have the infornmation either mailed or infornation posted where such information can be got when the concern department is not willing to give the details.
I wish to know the above details for the post of Under Secretary rank central government and above.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
J.Rajkumar
