If anyone has no Earned Leave in balance in 2008 thereafter she has already taken CCL more than three spells (one/two/three days etc.) wef 01 Sep 2008 whereas new DOPT has released on 07 Sep 2010.
what should be considred in my case regarding CCL.

Whenever my wife applied for CCL, authorities have not sanctioned her CCL. If she proceeded on leave to take care of our son’s needs, her salary has always been deducted. Whereas, 7-8 of her colleagues have been granted CCL for 6 days to 3-4 months by the same authority. Not only this, some of her colleagues have granted CCL to fulfill their need and not of their children.
Is it justice with my wife? What should she do to get her deducted salary? Please reply….

This CCL Rule is not benefit for Offices even country.

Does this mean that CCL will have to be taken in spells only ? Can anyone apply for year long leave for Std. X and Std XII of the the child? Logically, this is one spell of one year isnt it ? Study leave as of now is being granted for such long periods then why not CCL ? Along with other orders, it may also be specified that CCL should not be denied atleast when child is in important years of education like Std. Xth and Std. XII or for admission purposes or for sickness when child is admitted in a hospital or is even at home, for study leave, looking after during vacations.etc. During crucial years of Std. X and Std. XII a child has to have special attention given by parents. CCL is welcome as it will cater to such needs.
it has been a month since the new rules for CCL have been issued and railways have not yet issued any orders for implementation of this CCL in Railways

CCL is useful only for favourites of sanctioning authorities and those having stock of EL in balance as they can convert EL to CCL after availing it.

My wife matter as follow
1. My wife was was Earn Leave from 17 Nov 2008 to 31 Dec 2008 in continuation of Maternity Leave from 21 May 2008 to 16 Nov 2008.
2. Subsequent the issue of OM No. 13018/2010 Estt (Leave) dated 07 Sep 2010. My Wife vides application dated 05 Oct 2010 requested for its (45 EL from 17 Nov 2008) adjusted against Child Care Leave to 31 Dec 2008). The Child Care Leave in respect of (female) Central Government Employee is, as per OM No. 13018/2/2008- Estt (L) dated 11 Sep 2008, applicable w.e.f. 01 Sep 2008.
3. With reference to Para 1 0f f OM No. 13018/2010 Estt (Leave) dated 07 Sep 2010-Estt (Leave) 30 Dec 2010 it is to requested to clarify whether in this case it will be in order, for Leave Sanctioning Authority, if the Earn Leave availed by me from the period 17 Nov 2008 to 31 Dec 2008(in continuation of Maternity Leave from 21 May 2008 to 16 Nov 2008) is converted into Child Care Leave , as applied by me wife on 05 Oct 2010.

I intend 2 take CCL to take care of my children two aged 2 and 6months resply.
I have availed child care leave for 50 days from 18 October 2010 to 7th Dec. 2010. Please guide me, whether my TA will be deducted for the whole period i.e. 50 days or only for the month of NOV. continuing 30 days absence.

I have one querry. My child needs special educational training being a slow leraner. Now I need 4 hours in a week so that I can take him there. I am the only person looking after my family. Now I would like to know if under the child care provision can my office will grant me this concession and can they deduct the total number of hours per month from my child care leave.
I would be grateful if I could get the clarification.
This CCL leave is a patiality to Male employees in general and Specially to the other Male employees who are taking care of theire children alone.The single Male parent (widowed/divorced etc) shlould also be entitled for this leave.
secondly, the logic of granting leave to a female employee upto the age of 18yrs of children is not logical, because upto this age the children normally go to college and as such there is no necessity of such leaves?
If this is the reason, the scope of this leave should be extended until the childrens get married and get anew care takers for themselves.
thirdly , this order will have the adverse impact on the day to fuction of the office.
Thus, logic adopted for designing this leave and consideration to requirement of employees have not been considered in this order and needs immediate review.
Sir,presently I have to proceed on CCL for treatment of my two childrens. I am staying at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and have to proceed to Chennai and Kolkata for my childrens treatment. So, I want to confirm can I avail four year LTC for proceeding to the abovesaid place and back.

i had applied for child care leave in continuation of my maternity leave . i had applied for pre sanction of my CCL , in three spells by the competent authority after the lapse of my maternity leave , while still not joined office. I WAS NOT INTIMATED OF THE STATUS OF MY LEAVE and i continued to receive full salary upto eleven months even after the lapse of my maternity leave.After eleven months

My wife’s organization is an autonomous body under the Central Government. The organization appears to adopt certain of govt. circulars/ orders as per the whims and fancies of its NON IAS management.
Due to this a number of employee benifiting govt. orders are never considered. Specially women employee related orders.
How to compel and ensure that the management of this organization henceforth ensures (without fail) to adopt – in totem – all govt orders (meant for Central Govt. Employees).
This autonomous organization transfers its employees in manner same as applicable to central government employees. Does numerous other things on same format.
Its board also has a a central government beauraucrat (rank of Joint Secretary) on its board – as mandated by Government.
How to ensure that the government, through its Jiont Secretary, ensures implementation (inclusion in Rule Book) of numerous government orders ?
Please help. We shall be keen to discuss at greater length on more matters related to this autonomous organization.

Iam working in a office where majority of staff is female. When my female colleagues go on CCL one by one their work will be distributed to male colleagues and We are striving to complete the task.Besides during these periods, even though we are having sufficient leave at our credit, Our application is denied.After the age of Five children will go to school Care needs only when they got sick. Additional Medical leave can be given instead of CCL. Because during CCL, mele employees are suffered to complete female colleagues dues.

b’cas of my chidren are above 18 and below 28 but unmarried both (yob ’83 nov, ’85 aug Son& daughter) and the sametime
i dont have E.L in my credit.
But my son is affected by one accident @ Singapore his left hand wrist was fractured, another hand got one operation tenden cut and made operation. It was happened Feb2011 and he is slowly recoverd now. I went with some balance leave from feb2011 to end of april 2011(86days).

i am regularised female employee working in defence ministry as technician (industrial worker)ccl were granted. i availed the leaves after that the office note issued to regret the ccl and the same debited to my earned leave.some of the officers says that this privillage has not been given to industrial workers. is it justified?

If someone was on CCL w.e.f. 11.11.10 to 30.04.2011 and she has not reported on 30.04.11 or 01.05.11 on duty and 01.05.11 to 28.06.11 is declared as summer vacation. please clarify whether she is entitled for summer vacation or otherwise. However she reported on duty on 30.06.11 and again proceeded on CCL w.e.f. 01.07.11

my daughter is just six months old i ve applied ccl for six months bt my dept sanction it for one month n tht too is going to expire next week.i want leave for 6 months baby as there is no one at my home to look after her needs.my both in law r nt alive n we dont ve support system.even i didnt find any suitable creche in my neighbourhood vicinity n near to my office too.creche take baby above 1.5 yr.so is these grounds r nt suitable for granting ccl?as my case is very geniune n my baby needs me.i asked for ccl in continuation to maternity.shall nw i ask for without pay,el or half pay?can i avail el in continuation to one month ccl in continuation to maternity.i m nt in position to join dept right nw.if i will nt join for one year what action will be taken against me.plz suggest sme good sol for my prob.becoz i ve to brought up my child till 1 yr
I have applied CCL for 30 days. On 29th day I informed my office that I could not join the next day and want to extend the leave for another 4 days. Till date my CCL is not regularized stating that CCL should be availed with prior permission. I have gone on CCL with prior sanction and continuing the leave only of 4 days. Kindly clarify if the CCL is taken for sickness of the child, will it be possible to predict the exact no. of days of leave required and get prior approval.

my daughter is just 6 months old. i was on maternity leave till 23 aug 2011. i had applied for childcare leave in continuation to maternity leave to look after my child as there is nobody at my home to look after her.also i cud not find any suitable creche near my home or school where i can leave her. I need childcare leave for atleast 6 months to bring up my baby so that she attains suitable age to get admited in creche but my school authorities are DENYING TO GIVE ME EVEN ONE MONTH LEAVE.they have verbally refused to give me leave.and above all THEY ARE TELLING ME TO GO ON LEAVE WITHOUT PAY. with whom shud i leave my 6 month old child ? i have informed them about my situation but of no use. PLEASE HELP AND SUGGEST WHAT I SHUD DO.
i was in leave from 3 june 2011 to 28 july 2011 , I performed duty 01.06.11 and 02.06.2011 in the month of june and i performed duty in 29/07/2011 IN THE MONTH OF JULY 2011 . In this way both month few day when i attended office . SHOULD THEY DEDUCT TPT/G RS 2416/- FROM MY SALARY FOR ONE MONTH PERIOD ? IS IT CORRECT …… what the rule say please guide .
I am on sanctioned Child care leave for 20 days till 18/9/11,for my daughter’s class X half yearly exams. On receiving the communication from school , her exams finish on 26/9/11. I would like to know if i can extend my leave by 6 days, and what is the procedure as the child needs support in her exams?
HOD can deny for CCL in following condition
1.who has little baby which one is in feeding stage? If there is no any creche within 15 KM of service area and also have no relative to care child.If have any circular regarding this plz forward.

my son is having trauma and mental disturbance but ccl is being denied to me. can ccl be denied if a person is needy. i have e.l also in credit and can avail that too. but no el is also being given. can a employer continue to deny the same. please help.
My daughter (SINGLE GIRL CHILD)is studying in class 12th.Her cbse exams are due in march and she is also preparing 4 various enterance exams hence she is under lot of stress and mentel pressure.I applied 4 child care leave 2 look after her.But every time my request 4 child care leave is refused on the pretext that my child is medically fit hence it can not be granted.Can it be denied like this? What should be my further couse of action? Please advice

l am working in a scheduled bank.l availed my second maternity leave for 6 months from june 2011,after that l extended my leave for taking care of my children. ls it possible for me to avail ccl for 2 years
Sir, my wife working Postal Dept she applied CCL for 15 days, CCL not granted and she applied commuted leave on Medical grounds for 20 days she was not relieved for 10 days from her office,finally relieved, again she extended EOL for 30 days(2 spells), meantime 15 days CCL sanctioned from her office but not availed CCL,subsequently applied VR from Aug-12. Whether further for further leave sanctioned CCL can be availed incontinuation of EOL?

The child care leave granted is a very bold step taken by the Government. However, in my opinion strengent norms should be fixed to grant the same. Emloyees have already started misusing the facility and usind it as a weapon to avoid work, skip from the tougher job, shed away responsibility.Government need to review the facility.
I am working as a clerk in zila parishad punjab govt. .I am 60% disabled. My son has orthopedics problem thats why he needs special care. He will turn 18 in April the coming year i.e 24 April, 2013. I want child care leave from August 2012 to 20th April 2013. Can my concerned DDO reject my leave in this matter?
