Sir, I am working as Labour-cum-Welfare Officer in Central Govt. w.e.f. 24.02.2002. Prior to this I was working as UDC and at that time I opted for CPF. I applied for the post of LCWO against open advertisement/Departmental circular. Interview as held together with open advertisement candidates and I got selected and appointed. I was not given fresh option to switch over to GPF whereas direct recruitees are given GPF. My stand is that I should be given equal opportunity at par with new recruitees which my Department is refusing. Kindly clarify whether my stand is correct.
