Respected Staff and Official Members of NAC,

    Sirs,

The most blunder anomaly in formulation of the MACP Scheme is that the clerical staff in Defence who have completed 24 years of regular service are getting the grade pay of Rs. 2800/-, whereas under the earstwhile ACP Scheme, the clarical staff are getting grade pay of Rs. 4200/- on completion of 24 years of service. This is the most vital point on anomaly and has not been addressed by the Committee so far despite tremendous representations by the clerical staff. Clerical staff working in the same deptt. are getting different grade pay on completion of 24 years of service because of implementation of MACPS with a serious drawback in the policy. Why the clerical staff should suffer a severe financial loss due to lacunae in the revised policy? This aspect needs to be addressed and rectified by the Committee without fail.

Sir In fact, they added that the 6th CPC had suggested for two career progressions only and that too on grade pay hierarchy. The govt. had improved upon and therefore it was not possible for them to agree for the suggestion of the Staff Side.
This is unacceptable: Because the government had only partially improved the ACP scheme into MACP scheme after superseding the 6th CPC suggestion .This is hurting the career progression benefit. The real benefit already given has been snatched away.Real sense this is not improvement. Why the govt could not change /improve both suggestions of the same scheme . Why could not improve the whole scheme for the benefit of all employees who now are crying fervently for MACP in the promotional hierarchy. The offficial side must realise the fact that a large percentage of govt employees supporting the promotional hirearchy scheme only. The staff side should vigorously fight the cause for justice to all the financially deprived by government . They have to sustain the faith imposed by lakh of staff members.
