We have compiled the complete list of Allowances and Advances to be increased by 25% from 01.01.2011, wake of Dearness Allowance crosses over 50%. And there is no word of merging with the basic pay, whenever the Dearness Allowance cross 50% in the 6th CPC recommendations. The following allowances only revised at the moment…

What about Travelling Allowance, is it enhanced or not..?
Sir, As per Swamy’s Handbook, it is mentioned that all the compensatory allowances will increase by 25% when the DA crosses 50%. Special Duty Allowance (SDA), being given to the central govt. employees posted in North-Eastern region is also a compensatory allowance. But of late, while discussing the increase in allowance owing to DA crossing 50%, it has not been mentioned once by anyone. Please clarify if a 25% increase in SDA is due or not.
Can anybody tell me what will happen to the allowances if it crosses 100% or 150% or may be 200%.
Will HRA be increased?
What about for pensioners
What about National Holiday Allowance?

DA has become 51%, ONLY FIXED ALLOWANCES WILL BE HIKED BY 25%- allowances linked with your increment or bi-annual DA enhancement will not be changed. TA changes twice an year with change in DA, so it will not be changed
what about road transportation rate of personal effects on transfer ? Now it is Rs.30 and Rs.18 per km for 6000 kgs- will it be hiked by 25% ?

Sir,In item No8 of table given above, all components of tour mean that re-imbursement of rent in the existing rates of Rs.300/500/1500/3000/5000 to get increased by 25% and reimbursement of traval charges of Rs.50/100/150/taxi fare is to get increased by 25% and reimbursement of food charges Rs.100/150/200/300/500 should also get increased by 25%. I request all central govt employees Unions to raise a demand for merger of 50% DA with basic, as the PSU revision of pay scales is only five years and central govt employees pay commission takes place after ten years only. Otherwise pay commission may be set up every five years. All Unions may please take up the issues.

Increase in only some allowances are indicated in the 6thCPC report. why House rent allowance and Travaling allowance are not included in 25% increase. Basic Pay itself has to be changed when DA crossed above 50%.
What about Transport allowance that is given presently @Rs.1600/- and 3200/- based on the place of posting?

i am working in Ordnance Factory. I was appointed on in the year 1981 in the scale of 1400 (5000 in 5th CPC) and got I ACP in the year 1999 in the pay scale of 5500 and 2nd ACP in the year 2005 in the pay scale of 6500. as on 1.1.06 the pay scales of 5000 and 5500 have been merged. consequent on merger of above 2 scales now as on 1.1.06 I have got only one upgration i.e 6500. in view of the above please clarify whether I will get II ACP on 1.1.06 to the next hyrarchy in the department or I will get II MACP on 01/09/2008 in the next grade pay available in the Central government.

What about road transportation charge of personal effects on transfer ? That is a very important allowance for transferable central Govt employees – why it is not mentioned here ?
Regarding the overtime allowance, it is understood that the govt. has decided to pay the OTA on the enhanced pay wef 01 Jan 2006. Can anyone tell that whether this is applicable to those who get the OTA on notional pay.
I joined as an Inspector in Central Excise & Customs on 16.11.2009 after technically resigning from the post of sub-inspector, CISF. please let me know whether food bill is actually required for claiming the expenditure incurred. My office has allowed only the DA at the old rate only and i am in loss in more loss now as the Food allowance is increased from Rs.150 to 190 consequent on the increase of DA to 51%. In terms of para 5 of MACPS Promotion earned/up gradation granted under the ACP scheme in the post to those grade which now carry the same grade pay due to merger of pay scale / up gradation of the post recommended by the VIth CPC shall be ignored for the purpose of granting up gradation under modified ACPS.
The pay scales of Head Clerk, Office Supdt. have been merged in the grade of Rs. 4200 in the PB-2 and E&AO in the grade pay of Rs. 4600/- . Hence the promotion/financial up gradation granted from Head Clerk to Office Supdt. prior to 1/1/2006 is to be ignored.
Thus I have been given 2 promotions as per above.
Question No. 1 Am I entitled for ACP/MACP. If yes, from what date?
Q. No. 2 As per order after the implementation of MACPS, 3rd financial up gradation is to be granted in the next higher grade pay of Rs. 4800 on completion of 10 years service in the grade pay of Rs. 4600 or on completion of 30 years of the service whichever is earlier.

As far as I know, those allowances that are paid in percentage as “DA on TA”, “SDA” etc. will not be increased because DA crossing 50%. However, those allowances that are fixed as TA, Washing Allowance, SCA (Remote Locality Allowance) etc. will be increased by 35%

On increasing 50% of DA this amount should be increased by 50%
or the 50% of the DA should be treated as Dearness pay and should be included in the original pay for the calculation of future DAs.Why not the Associations sleeping well in this matter?
There is no financial benefit to Central government pensioners with the on increase of 50% DA. The Finance Minister should also think about their plight. The senior citizens has to incur lot of expenditure on medicines, health care transportation etc. I do not know why Government is so harsh on Central Government pensioners. Except paltry enhancement of DA they are getting nothing from the Government. Government has allowed them to starve and on the mercy of their children. Some hefty enhancement in pension should be given to pensioners so that they may able to live their life comfortably. Now they have no option but to join the band wagon of so called crusader of corruption.

Residential Allowance for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Employees working in remote areas and whose duty is 24 hours Under Ministry of HRD is also a compensatory allowance. But of late, while discussing the increase in allowance owing to DA crossing 50%, it has not been mentioned once by anyone. Please clarify if a 25% increase in Residential Allowance is due or not.
